93 points at Wine Enthusiast

Quinta Vale d’Aldeia Grande Reserva Red 2019 with new rating.

93 points were given by the Wine Enthusiast critics to Quinta Vale d’Aldeia’s wine of choice.

A re-edition of the attribution of points.

Structured, elegant, with good acidity and velvety tannins, the Grande Reserva Tinto proved and consolidated the score previously assigned by Robert Parker, being at the moment the critics of Wine Enthusiast to give the same recognition.

For the winemaker, José Reverendo Conceição, the attribution of this format of the score reflects the potential of the whole structure of Quinta Vale d’Aldeia, a family project in the town of Mêda. With vineyards dating back to 2004 – where each year of aging reflects in the quality of the generous obtained, the structure of the winery – a recent structure dating back to 2009, where all the equipment is high-tech, and the terroir allied to the microclimate of the Upper Douro region, allow us to make a dream come true, with a positive vision of the future of the wines produced at the winery of Quinta Vale d’Aldeia.
