Quinta Vale d’Aldeia won a Gold medal in the competition with its LOOK’s Grande Reserva Red wine from the 2016 harvest.
Lyon is recognized as the capital of gastronomy and good taste, and so it was only natural that the city would be a showcase for the world’s best products. The Concours International de Lyon has a reputation in keeping with its prestigious partners: Les Toques Blanches Lyonnaises, the Association des Sommeliers de Rhône Alpes, Metro… The enthusiasm for this competition is widespread.
In 2021, some 9,300 samples from 43 countries were tasted.
