93 points in the Blend Grande Reserva Red 2019

Quinta Vale d’Aldeia Grande Reserva Tinto 2019 with a worthy highlight of 93 points in the world’s most acclaimed wine magazine, The Wine Advocate – Robert Parker.

Currently the magazine “The Wine Advocate” has over fifty thousand subscribers spread over 35 countries and inspires the decision of many buyers and wine experts around the world, being also, the only writer and wine critic decorated by governments of countries that are major wine producers: France and Italy.

In the review of this blend the reviewer wrote the the following note:

“The oak is a bit annoying at the outset, a little too prominent, and imparting too much vanilla. The rest, though, is impressive. Focused, tightly wound, and reasonably concentrated, this has the balance to age well. The mid-palate finesse. is admirable for the style. It is powerful and too young just now, not to mention too laced with vanilla, but this looks promising. It might be the best wine I’ve seen yet from this winery. You are going to need to be patient, however. This will require a few years of cellaring to round into form. Let’s start here and take in stages. It has. some things to prove too.”

This award represents the work done from the vineyards to the winery, rewarding all the corporate staff that this company owns.

For Winemaker José Reverendo Conceição, the elaboration of this wine style is what gives him the most joy when looking at all the work done. With climate change being a problem of today and the future, and the uncertainty in the quality of the productions, the biggest challenge is the constant monitoring of the vineyards and the search for more and more sustainable solutions. At the winery, after the harvests, the challenge is to align the profiles and file the edges of all the wines in search of always obtaining something better, quality to incresase the passion of our clients.
