90 points at Robert Parker, Grande Reserva White 2020

Quinta Vale d’Aldeia Grande Reserva White 2020 with a worthy score of 90 points in the most prestigious wine magazine in the world, The Wine Advocate – Robert Parker.
Currently the magazine “The Wine Advocate” has over fifty thousand subscribers spread over 35 countries and inspires the decision of many buyers and wine experts around the world, being also the only writer and wine critic decorated by the governments of countries that are major wine producers: France and Italy.

The review of this blend:

“A touch of lime leads this off.  Then, it resolves into a bright and lively wine whose acidity lifts the fruit beautifully. It’s fresh and a little piquant, elegant and precise. There is tension. on the finish as this demonstrates some grip and displays a little power. Overall, this has a somewhat unusual demeanor for a Grande Reserva, relying on restraint and. freshness. instead of wood and depth. It has a more classic “fresh wine” feel, and that’s a nice thing here. It will be interesting to see how this ages and evolves. It should hold nicely for the rest of the decade, at least. Let’s start. there and take it in stages thereafter, but I’d expect it to do even better. “

For Winemaker José Reverendo Conceição, this is a highlight already deserved by National and International critics. After successive awards for red wines, the white wines from Quinta Vale d’Aldeia are entering this new era.
