Quinta Vale D’Aldeia Reserva Red Wine won the Gold Medal in the 2022 edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
The main goal of the Brussels World Competition is to offer consumers a guarantee: to distinguish quality wines, true pleasures to drink and taste from the 4 corners of the world and within all price ranges.
The awarded wine is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão and Tinta Amarela from our best plots located in the region of Meda in the Upper Douro at about 450 meters of altitude.
At tasting, it is noted for its deep purplish red color, presenting itself very concentrated on the nose with aromas of ripe red fruits, cacao and spices integrated with hints of wood. In the mouth it is elegant with good acidity and velvety tannins resulting in a structured and harmonious wine.
