Xaino, the popular term used in the XIV century to describe the term wine, was awarded the Gold medal in the Portuguese competition, Wines of Portugal.
The present blend ( 2019 vintage) earns a new distinction, where good acidity and velvety tannins prevail in the mouth, resulting in a structured and harmonious wine. It is a deep purple red color and very concentrated on the nose with aromas of ripe red fruits, cacau and spices integrated with wood notes.
To achieve a good maturation, the wine aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. It stands out for its high elegance and aging power.
A wine that makes all tables richer at a tempting price/quality level.
